More stakeholders have continued to commend Governor Willie Obiano for consolidating effective security architecture and accelerating drive towards sustaining development.Speaking to journalists in Awka at the launching of Operation kpochapu Two, a former state Vice Chairman of APGA, Anambra South, Chief Titus Anigbogu said it has brought technological innovations to the state security apparatus and set a standard for others to copy.
Paul Ezeoke reports that Chief Anigbogu who is also the Special Adviser to APGA National Chairman Chief Victor Oye said the Governor has adequately equipped and maintained the security agencies to sustain the state’s status as the safest state in the country which he noted would have multiplier effects on the South-East Zone and the country at large.He noted that in addition to security, the Governor has equally revolutionized Agriculture to achieve food security and build export capacity as well as laid solid foundation for industrial growth, noting that investors in the sector are delivering the desired results.
Chief Anigbogu expressed satisfaction that volume of trade has equally increased while the state GDP has continued to rise. Also speaking, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on security, Mr. Ostar Christopher said the second phase of the operation kpochapu showed the passion and commitment of Governor Obiano to security as the fulcrum that drives the entire super structure and unveiling of the Governor’s digital approach to security of life and property.
Mr. Christopher urged investors to explore the increasing business opportunities in the state to expand their businesses and urged residents of the state to provide prompt and useful information to security agencies by calling free toll line one-one two during emergencies to receive immediate response.He explained that state command and control centre is always alert to deploy nearest security vehicles to emergencies and called on government of neigbouring states to key into Governor Obiano’s initiatives to secure the entire region.
