A tanker ladden with petrol yesterday went up in flames, after it skidded off the road and hit the walls of a private hospital at the Upper Iweka junction along the Onitsha-Asaba Express way.
The tanker which emptied its content into the drainage as it burst into flames, flowed down into Market areas along Ochanja.
When ABS arrived the scene of the incident it was discovered that the flame found its way into Abuja park and its surroundings, affecting series of shops along the road, just as four Tricycles were razed down.
Unconfirmed reports speak of human casualties.
