The New General Officer Commanding the Eighty-Two Division of the Nigerian Army Enugu, Brigadier-General Lasisi Adeboye has visited Governor Willie Obiano at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia.


Our Government House anchor man, Ejike Abana reports that Brigadier-General Adeboye was accompanied by some top officers and Men of the Eighty-Two Division of the Nigerian Army Enugu.


Receiving the Army Commander, Governor Obiano re-assured that Anambra State Government will continue to support the Nigerian Army in providing security to the citizenry.


The Governor who maintained that security remains paramount in his administration, promised increased support to security agencies in the State.


In a remark, Brigadier-General Adeboye, extolled Governor Obiano’s efforts in security, saying that the visit was to familiarize with the Governor, as is customary for them on assumption of office.


He reiterated the commitment of the Nigerian Army towards redoubling its effort to crime fighting.
