A middle-aged man, whose identity is not immediately known, was electrocuted in Abba, Njikoka local government area of Anambra state on Saturday, 2nd November, 2019.
The victim, who is said to be working for the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, EEDC, and hailed from Nimo, also in Njikoka council area, was reportedly working at a step-down transformer based in Abba, when electric power was suddenly restored, leading to his death.
Joseph Egbeocha, reports that the deceased has been deposited at St. Ann Mortuary in Abba, with the assistance of men of the Nigeria Police Force.
