The body of late Mrs Josephine Obiamaka lbegbu has been laid to rest at her country home Ugwunabankpa Village Onitsha in Onitsha,North Council Area.


Late Mrs Ibegbu who died at age of fifty years was the wife of Mr Vincent Ibegbu of ABS News And Current Affairs and a business woman.


She was also a devout Anglican and member of so many associations in the Anglican Communion .


The burial was attended by friends, families and relatives of the deacease..
In a Sermon during her burial Service at Immanual Anglican Church, Ugwunabankpa Road ,Onitsha, Reverend Godwin Chiezie charged christains to always live exampleary life during their life time and be dedicated to the things of God in order to be remembered after dead.


Reverend Chiezie who is the Assistant Vicar of the Church cautioned Christians against the life of pretence and urged them to always show who they are in the society . The Anglican Clergy advised the members of her family not to cry as people who have no hope in the resurrection, calling on them especially the husband Mr Ibegbu to bear the loss with faith.

He reminded the people that death is a price all mortals must pay, noting that Obiamaka has paid hers, and emphasised the needs for every Christains to prepared since no one knows when it will come.


Speaking to the ABS the Patriarch of the clan ,Kpazie Barrister Nnamdi Ibegbu (SAN) extoled the life of Obiamaka which he noted was full of legacies,most especially in area of being a virtuous and charitable wife who he will miss forever Also speaking the brother to the deceased ,Professor Arinze Abuah, Dean Faculty of Law University of Abuja,said her sister was outstanding among women due to her interity, respect for human being and God fearing sister and later Pray God to grant her enteral rest in heaven Speaking at the grave side of their Mother,her Son Mr Vincent lbegbu junior and his Siblings who could not hold back their tears managed to said that their mother was very caring,a teacher and one who valued human beings .

Also speaking, the husband Mr Vin Ibegbu lamented that the vacuum created by her demise will never be filled and asked God to give her eternal rest.


The burial was also attended by the members of ABS family, especially,the News and Current Affairs Department,who came to conmisriate with one of their own,Mr Vin lbegbu.
The team was led by the Director , News and Current Affairs Department,Chief Gab Okparaeze,who on behalf of MD /CEO,Nze Uche Nworah said that Mrs lbegbu’s death was a great loss noting that she died at the time,the family needed her the most, but consoled them to have faith in God who knows the reason for picking such virtuous woman.
Chief Okparaeze advised members of the family to anchor their faith in God.
In there seperate tributes,Mr &Mrs Oselaka Agbakuba, Hon Blessing Chukuwrah, Chinedu Solomom,, Emma Nwanolue and Chinyelugo Emeka Menkut, stated that they really lost a rere gem not only in lbegbu ‘s Family but to the whole Onitsha.


The burial ceremony features, thanksgiving , interment, paying of Condolences by ABS Family ,In laws,and Friends .1
