Governor Willie Obiano has urged Ndi Anambra in the diaspora to always support programmes and policies of his administration for enhanced development of the State.
Speaking during the 2019 Anambra Cultural Day celebration organized by Anambra Town’s Peoples Association in Abuja, Governor Obiano maintained that his administration will continue to map out programmes and policies that will improve the living standards of the people.
.Governor Obiano who was represented by his Deputy Dr Nkem Okeke urged Ndi Anambra living in other parts of the Country to always be good ambassadors advising them to avoid acts capable of portraying the State in bad light.
The Governor who during the event urged affluent individuals of Anambra State extraction in the diaspora to deploy part of their investment to the State for enhanced business transactions describing Anambra as the safest State in the Country.
Governor Obiano who disclosed some of the programmes of his administration aimed at taking Anambra State to next level called on Ndi Igbo to always embark on those programmes that will promote, preserve and safeguard their rich cultural heritage.
The event featured cultural and masquerade displays and raffle draw among others.
