Christian faithful, friends and family trooped out in their numbers to the Awka Headquarters of Holy Ghost Ministries Incorporated, to celebrate the President of the church, Archbishop Dr. Ephraim Ndife, as he marked seventy-fifth birthday.

The thanksgiving service which was held at the Ministry’s Cathedral at Ngozika Housing Estate, Awka, attracted the Clergy, government functionaries and traditional rulers from within and outside the country.

Archbishop Ndife, a Chartered Peace Advocate in the Order of Mayor for World Peace of the United Nations’ Peace and Positive Living Awareness Center, UN-PEPOLAC, was marking his seventy-five years of birth and fortythree years in the service of God and humanity.

In a brief biblical admonition, one of the officiating priests, Bishop Tim Obidike who said that gratitude and faith work together, noted that the golden age of a man starts at sixty-five and urged Christians to seek a life span of one hundred and twenty, to be able to reap the fruits of their labour.

Also speaking Bishop Louis Morah, whose message hinged on “Giving Offering to God,” said offering is an appreciation unto God and not a show of force, and wondered why most individuals are bent on discouraging God’s children from appreciating the goodwill of God with the claim that they are enriching men of God.

Felicitating with the celebrant, the Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria, Anambra State Chapter, Reverend Dr. John Ndubisi, his Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria counterpart, Bishop Moses Ezedebego and the Traditional Ruler of Awka, Igwe Gibson Nwosu, all affirmed the humane nature of Archbishop Ndife in his service in the Lord’s vineyard and prayed for God’s continuous blessings upon him and his household.

In his welcome address, Archbishop Ndife thanked God Almighty for his mercies throughout his existence so far on earth, acknowledging and prayed for continuous blessings upon him and his household and also appealed for collaborative efforts in achieving the Anambra State that all would be proud of.
The climax of the celebration was a prayer session for the Church, Anambra State, Nigeria and Awka Community, cutting of the birthday cake, prayer for the celebrant and presentations of gifts.
