Commitment and dedication to the church of God have been described as a effective way to attract blessings and God’s grace.
The Chaplain of Sacred Heart Chaplaincy, Ngozika Housing Estate, Awka, Reverend Father Hyacinth Okafor stated this in a homily to mark the Chaplaincy’s annual thanksgiving and bazaar.
Religion Correspondent, Amaka Okoye was there, and reports that the parishioners of Sacred Heart Chaplaincy, Awka expressed joy and gratitude to God for another season of harvest and for the mercies shown them throughout the year.
They appeared in their different uniforms and danced to glorify God.
Reverend Father Okafor maintained that nothing pays more than investing in the vineyard of God, for there are much rewards and grace, adding that sacrifice and giving thanks is another way of worship.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after the mass, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Victor Oye noted that running the race of Christ is an important part to toe as it will not only give life but also blessings that are far beyond measures.
Also speaking, the State Chairman of APGA, Sir Norbert Obi, said that all should embrace Christ, do his work and live according to his dictates as much rewards await them both in heaven and on earth.
Also speaking, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Chief Uche Nworah who is also a parishioner, said the harvest is what they do once a year to invest and sow in the vine yard of God and also a time of thanking God for
blessing as well as pray for more and interact with one another.
Thanksgiving and other side attractions made the special mass memorable.
