HiAnambra state Governor, Chief Willie Obiano has called on villages and communities in the state to always help in the state’s development as the government can not achieve the feat alone.

Governor Obiano made the call while commissioning a borehole facility collectively constructed by members of Iruokpalaenyi village, Enugwu-Agidi, in Njikoka Local Government Area at the village square.

The Governor who was represented by the Deputy, Dr. Nkem Okeke described the action of the Iruokpalaenyi villagers as an act worthy to be emulated by other villages and communities in the state, saying that through that, the vision of the present administration in infrastructural development would be speedily achieved.

The Water project was facilitated by the National President Iruokpalaenyi Development Union, Mr. Ebuka Onuora who disclosed that the villagers decided to drill the borehole to reduce challenges they face in fetching water from other villages, as it is difficult to get water around the village.
