The 2019 Cultural Day festival organised by the Lagos state chapter of Anambra state development union (AASDU) was filled with color and excitement as it aimed to celebrate Igbo culture and tradition and officially launch the 1 billion naira industrial skill village in Anambra State.
The event which had It’s theme as: Entrepreneur and industrialization in a changing business environment held at the practise pitch of the National stadium, Surulere Lagos. The chairman of the occasion, Senator Ben Ndii Obi in his key note address stated the importance of a stable and unified Ndigbo for continuity and sustenance in the ever changing business world.
Other notable dignatories in attendance includes the Royal father of the day, HRM Igwe Emeka Okezie, Oka-ije of Okija and his wife, Dr Anameje, Chairman, Oraifite Improvement Union, Chief (Barr) Vincent Osakwe, President, (AASDU), Chief Barr Udoagwa, Chairman Apic, Agbala Nwanyi. Lady T. ONUORA, Ezéwánnyi of ojoto community and host of others.
Masquerade displays, cultural dance, beauty pageant competition and march past formed the highlights of the event.
