According to the statement at the end of the exercise, the commission would have successfully demarcated two hundred local government areas while the remaining five hundred and seventy four local government areas will be covered in the subsequent programme.
The statement maintained that the enumeration area demarcation exercise is not the enumeration of persons living in the country, adding that its outcome will not in any-way determine the population of any community, local government or State pointing out that it is only the division of the country into small geo-graphical areas to facilitate the enumeration.
