Globacom Nigeria Limited, the Nigerian Indigenous Telecommunication Network has presented it’s sixth edition of Glo Recharge and win raffle draw tagged “My Own Don Beta”.
The event which took place at Onitsha Main Market attracted representatives from Nigeria Lottery Commission, National Communication Commission and other regulatory bodies in the country.
Prizes won during the live raffle draw include Power generating set, Tricycles, Industrial Sewing machines and milling machines.
In an address, the Regional Activation Manager, South East Zone, Mr Neol Udene noted that the sixth Globacom prize presentation held in Onitsha has produced winners from different parts of the country, adding that the event was in fulfilment of Globacom pledge to always explore ways of delighting their subscribers and add value to their lives.
Mr Udene congratulated those who have received their Prizes, restating Globacom commitments towards producing new entrepreneurs across the country to generate income and employment.
Globacom Ambassadors, Mrs Patience Ozorkwo and Mr Victor Osuagwu stated that the promo is real and continuous as more subscribers stand the chance of winning Prizes as long as they keep on recharging their Glo lines with two hundred Naira recharge card.
The duo maintained that Glo is passionate about empowering people and urged both old and new subscribers to keep recharging.
A Representative from Nigeria Lottery Commission, Onitsha, Mr Chukwuma Okoye said he came to monitor the raffle draw and pointed out that the exercise was transparent and congratulated the prize winners.
Some of the winners who spoke to ABS expressed surprised and gratitude to Globacom for the gesture adding that the gifts will change their lives for good.
Correspondent Emengini Osadebe who covered the event reports that during the raffle draw some winners at the draw who were not present were contacted on their Mobile phones and directed to go to any Globacom office nearest to them to collect their Prizes.
