As part of activities heralding Christmas season, many people were
treated to good music as Christ Holy Church International Nteje Superintendencey Youths, held its 2019 festival of praise.
The event which held in Awka has its theme as “Tehillah” meaning Feast of Praise.
The church arena was filled to capacity as the audience who graced the occasion were presented with programmes that uplifted the spirit.
The festival was enhanced by the church musical band while the performer’s powerful voices resonated above the sky.
Speaking at the event, the Priest in Charge of Christ Holy Church International Number One, Awka, Senior Pastor Cajethan Onyeaka, who said the event was aimed at nurturing and unveiling local talents of youths, echoed call for all living souls to continue rendering praises and worship to God in the splendour of his holiness.
The Priest charged youths to always grow in God’s wisdom and be true ambassadors of Jesus Christ especially this season.
The Superintendency Youth Chairman, Engineer Innocent Nwakwesili and the Superintendency Coordinator, Senior Catechist Solomon Odiugwu, noted that praises are means of appreciating God for his blessings in their day to day activities, adding that the annual festival will revive the spirit of youths in glorifying God.
Some of the participants including, Miss Ogechukwu Okoye, Messrs Wisdom Okoye, Onyedika Chigbata and Ifeanyi Ọkpara, appreciated God for lifting his countenance upon them on daily basis.
The event climaxed with prayer intercession led by the Assistant Secretary of the Superintendency, Mr. Emmanuel Oduma.
