Couples have been charged to love and submit to each other in order to achieve a blissful marriage.
The Pastor in charge, United Church of Christ, Amaenyi Awka, Pastor Daniel Simon gave the charge as Mr. Anthony Emegagor and former Miss Blessing Obiora of the ABS tied their nuptial vows.
Pastor Simon in his message advised the couple to eschew from their old ways of life and remain united in love.
Later at Ogidi Town Hall, Idemili North council area the venue for the reception, the chairman, Chief Kennechukwu Onyema, advised them to be united to strengthen their marriage.
On his part, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Creative Media and member, ABS Board of Directors, Mr. Bob-Manuel Udokwu, advised the newly married to always apologize and forgive each other every time as according to him, little things make a happy marriage.
In their separate remarks, the newly wedded, Mr. and Mrs. Emegagor expressed gratitude to God, appreciated their guests and prayed for God’s blessings upon everyone.
The parents of the bride and groom prayed for God’s blessings on the newly wedded while exchange of martial vow, signing of marriage register, cutting of cake, presentation of gifts amongst others added glamour to the wedding ceremony.
