Chief Chinyelu Molokwu has emerged the traditional ruler – elect of Amawbia Community, Awka South Council Area.
Chief Molokwu polled two hundred and forty four votes to beat his closest rival Chief Eddy Nwokoye who polled two hundred and twenty seven votes.
Five candidates who contested the election are from Umueze Village mandated by the Community to present a candidate for the Igweship.
The election took place at Okpalaigwe Square, Amawbia.
