The traditional ruler of Awka community Obi Gibson Nwosu says year 2020 holds great prospects for Nigeria.
Speaking in an interview with Abuchi Nwozor in his palace Obi Nwosu maintained that with hard work, commitment and love for one another Nigerians will actualize their mission and vision for 2020.
He regretted the rate of under-development in the country and called for concerted efforts and support to the government to enable it deliver on its mandate.
Obi Nwosu called on the federal government to rehabilitate all its failed roads across the country to ensure free vehicular movement and enhanced business transactions.
The traditional ruler of Awka community made a strong case for the government to always give priority to agriculture to ensure food security in addition to reducing poverty.
He charged various communities to use the ongoing festivities to embark on programmes that will ensure even development in their various areas.
Obi Nwosu commended Governor Willie Obiano for his people oriented programmes and policies which he noted has fastened development across the State especially in the hinterlands.
