Aguluzoigbo Community in Anaocha Local Government Area has inaugurated its newly elected Town Union executive after five years of being under a Caretaker Committee.


The inaugural ceremony which took place at the Aguluzoigbo National Secretariat and Civic Center attracted major stakeholders in the community, including Chairmen of the six villages, the youth, elders as well as cultural proponents in the area.


Among the inaugurated Executive Members are the President-General, Mr. Chukwunwike Madueke, the Vice President-General, Mr Oliver Ibeabuchi, Secretary, Mr. Ejike Mmaduka, Treasurer, Mr. Damian Okekeocha, the Financial Secretary, Mr. Jude Obize among others.


In his speech during the inaugural ceremony, the Traditional Prime Minister of Aguluzoigbo, Chief Hyacinth Onwuneme, enjoined them to ensure that peace and progress of their Community remains paramount.


In an acceptance Speech the new President-General, Mr Chukwunwike Madueke pledged to do his best for the Community but pleaded for the support of all the stakeholders to enable them serve the Community better.


On his part, Senator Victor Umeh, who commended the caretaker committee for their commitment to duty in the past five years noted that their Community is now better placed for improved development.


He commended Governor Willie Obiano for his support to Aguluzoigbo as the community has felt government presence in all ramifications.
