Two days into the New Year, citizens are making greater projections and anticipations, with renewed hope for the year.
One of such is coming from the Acting Chief Judge of Anambra State, Justice Onochie Anyachebelu.
Appreciating God for the privilege of another glorious opportunity to witness the New Year, he anticipated for more positive and robust development for the State and Country at large.
Calling for true prayers for those in leadership positions he lamented the level of religious intolerance and bigotry, which he noted has become unhealthy for the socio -economic growth of the nation.
Justice Anyachebelu said peace and unity remain panacea for national growth, expressing the hope that the country even in the face of uncertainties will surmount the national turbulence.
Commending Governor Willie Obiano for keeping faith with the overall development of the State, underscoring the feat achieved, so far in the areas of security, the Chief Judge lauded the relative peace enjoyed during the Yuletide as well as other insights of the present administration.
Commenting on the cordial relationship existing between the State government and the Judiciary, he pledged more cooperation and support in moving the state forward
Speaking on the infrastructural development of the State, Justice Anyachebelu urged the State government to accelerate the pace of road re,-construction across the state to benefit the citizenry.
