The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Anambra State Command, has advised Ndi Anambra to be wary of fraudsters who go about extorting money from unsuspecting members of the public with a promise of getting them enlisted into the corps.
A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Mr Edwin Okadigbo says the information becomes necessary following reported cases of illegal activities of the fraudsters in the State.
The statement advised unemployed persons to report anybody found trying to dupe them as the Corps though in the process of recruitment has not shortlisted names of candidates that applied for job, maintaining that documentation has never started.
It warned those who engage in such shoddy deal to desist forthwith as anybody caught will face the full weight of the law.
