Ndi Anambra have been called to support the state government in protecting the environment.
The Managing Director , Anambra State Clear Drainage And Forest Preservation Agency, Mr. Chido Obidiegwu made the call in Nnewi, while inspecting some water channels at Umudim community.
Mr. Obidiegwu observed that some people still use drainage channels as waste bin which is against the wish of the Obiano led administration noting that flooding and erosion will be minimal in the state if the people would adopt right attitude to waste disposal.
He called on the people involved to desist from such act as anyone caught will be prosecuted accordingly, urging the state residents to make use of the receptacles provided by the government for proper
