As Anambra 2020 Nigeria Police Games progresses, more sporting events are on-going on at different venues across the state.

Governor Obiano, who mandated home team, which is Zone 9, to lift all available trophies, equally encouraged all the athletes to put in their best in the weeklong event.
At the NYSC Camp at Umuawulu/Mbaukwu, venue for Archery, Badmintons and Table tennis games, it was observed that the events were on top gear, with collation of results going on simultaneously.
The Vice Chairman of Archery Federation, ASP Mathias Moses, who described the game as that of bow and arrow, newly introduced into the country for all ages, said efforts are on to incorporate the game as part of sporting events in the country.
The Golden Tulip Agulu Lake Hotel, Agulu, remains the venue for Scrabble and Chess competitions.
Chairmen of Scrabble and Chess Associations, ACP Tony Emefile and DCP Patrick Atayero, who commended athletes for putting-in their best, said more people, will be nurtured to represent and win prizes for the Country at local and international sports.
All athletes who spoke to the ABS commended the hospitality of Ndi-Anambra, even as ASWAMA personnel were seen maintaining cleanliness at the venues.
