The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Chief Uche Nworah has been honored with an award of recognition by the the Chartered Institute Of Taxation Of Nigeria, CITN.


The award was presented to him for his commitment and dedication towards promoting tax compliance culture in Anambra State.


The award was presented by the National President, Chartered Institute Of Taxation Of Nigeria, Dame Gladys O.M Simplice who is in Anambra state for the 2020 Anambra Tax Awareness Week, been organized by Anambra State Internal Revenue Service in collaboration with the Chartered Institute Of Taxation Of Nigeria and Federal Inland Revenue Service.


Dame Simplice while handing the award, commended the recipient for his input in the areas of tax education which has been yielding great results for the state alin promoting compliance.


Receiving the award in his office in Awka during a courtesy call by the delegation, The Managing Director and CEO Anambra Broadcasting Service, Chief Uche Nworah expressed satisfaction with the honour, assuring of greater input to ensuring that the people develope the right attitude towards tax payment to enable the state generate funds for provision of basic social amenities for Ndi Anambra.


Present during the visit were the Chairman, Anambra State Board Of Internal Revenue, Dr David Nzekwu, the Chairman, Chartered Institute Of Taxation Of Nigeria, Awka District Mr Augustine Abadom among other critical stakeholders in the tax and revenue sectors.
