The ultimate price paid by Jesus Christ at Calvary has been identified as the center of Christianity.

President of Holy Ghost Ministries, Archbishop Ephraim Ndife stated this during his Sunday message at the Church’s Cathedral in Awka.

Archbishop Ndife who stressed that humanity would have been lost if not for the selfless sacrifice of Jesus Christ, called on Christians to uphold selfless and sacrificial love and service.

Archbishop Ndife, a one time State Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, based his text from the gospel of Matthew 27, pointed out that God’s unconditional love is gracefully generous and placed into eternal action, as it has always been a never-ending love that does not die, tire or flutter away.

At St Joseph Catholic Parish Awka, Reverend Father Basil Ucheonye advised Christians to remain focused in their race to gain heaven.

Reverend Father Ucheonye stated this in a homily during youths mass at the parish.
According to Father Ucheonye, Christians fail whenever they are distracted by the things of the world which is a barrier to their heavenly inheritance.

He charged them to always look unto the gains at the end of the tunnel, even as he charges students to study hard as they will be compensated with good grades which will define their destiny in life
