Korean Republic is seeking partnership with Anambra State government
in the agricultural sector, among other sectors of the state economy.
Korean Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Lee In Tae stated this when he paid a
courtesy visit to the State Deputy Governor, Dr Nkem Okeke at the
Government House, Awka.
Part of the partnership is to help develop the Agriculture sector
through Chelsea Farms operating in the State.
Mr Lee In Tae who noted that they were attracted to help the state in
ensuring more development in the agricultural sector because of the
laudable achievement already secured by the Obiano government in the
sector.
He solicited for the support of the state government and entire Ndi
Anambra to enable them realized their vision for the state’s economy.
Responding, Deputy Governor Okeke who commended the group for
considering the state for the project, assured that the state
government will do the needful to make sure that the state maximally
benefits from the group.
Government House Correspondent, Emmanuel Okonkwo reports that the
Ambassador and entourage were led by the Managing Director of Chelsea
farms, Chief Patrick Chidolue.
