Anambra State Government has continued to strengthen its efforts aimed at strategizing possible ways of preventing the corona-virus pandemic.
This was witnessed during an inspection visit to hospitality Industries in the State to enlighten them on the preventive measures while dealing with their guests.
Speaking during the event, the Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Indigenous Artwork, Culture and Tourism Mrs Sally Mbanefo pointed out that following the recent directives by relevant health bodies, the team is set to ensure that Anambra State is COVID-19 compliant by putting up standard preventive measures.
Also, the Commissioner for Health, Dr Vincent Okpala warned that any organization found wanting will be sanctioned and called for the installation of equipment that will detect individual temperature in various areas.
A Hotel proprietress Mrs Jessy Nwokoye expressed delight for the certificate of compliance saying that the organization has before now equipped its facility with the recommended preventive instrument according to World Health Organization and directive from the Federal Ministry of Health.
