More commendations have continued to trial Governor Willie Obiano’s drive towards consolidating sustainable development in the state.
In his reaction, the National Chairman of Willie Obiano Support groups Chief Jude Emecheta said the Governor’s holistic and comprehensive approach to development have stimulated steady and vibrant growth in all sectors of the state economy .
Paul Ezoke reports that Chief Emecheta said the revolution in the Agricultural sector has opened opportunities to effectively unlock the abundant potential in the sector and would help diversify the state economy with multiplier effect on the South East and national economies to reduce the burden of mono -economy.
He explained that the wide agricultural value chain which has already attracted huge investments to the state would fast track industrial development and create more employment opportunities and urged youths to tap into the expanding opportunities in agriculture to become self reliant and achieve their aspirations in life as the government has institutionalized micro-financing scheme for farmers as well as ready off takers for their produce.
Also speaking, the National Chairman of Anambra Mandate for Good Governance, Mr. Olisa Aniuno said the Obiano administration has raised the bar of governance through people oriented policies and programmes which he said has promised quality of life and significantly reduced rural poverty.
Mr. Aninuo noted that the success story of Anambra state has made it a reference point across the country because of the sustained efforts and commitment of the Governor to deliver on his promises with legacy projects that would completely transform the state.
