Amorka community in Ihiala local government area will add to its existing infrastructure, twenty lock up shops, VIP toilets and water borehole.

This is sequel to the over four point six million naira cheques presented to Chidindu vulnerable group Amorka by Anambra state Community and Social Development Agency for the execution of the projects.
Over now to Ebele Ezeh reports members of Chidindu vulnerable group Amorka received their cheques at Umuokpara civic center, constructed with the 2017 Community Choose Your Project Initiative of Governor Willie Obiano.

Presenting the cheques, the General Manager, Anambra state Community and Social Development Agency, Mr. Chudi Mojekwu announced that the projects on completion will gulp over nine point seven million naira.
Braking down the cost further, Mr. Mojekwu explained that the group will provide five percent cost of the total money in cash or material while the agency will provide ninety-five percent of which the cheques represent first fifty percent tranche.

He advised them to speed up implementation process and comply with the specifications as contained in the approved Group Development Plan.
Speaking, the President General, Amorka Improvement Union, Professor Simeon Alozieuwa, who explained that their community is the border between Anambra and Imo states, announced that the projects will be sited at the Airport Community, Amorka.
Professor Alozieuwa applauded Governor Willie Obiano for attracting the project and availing them the opportunity to benefit adding that it is only his administration that has remembered the community which according to him was neglected by previous administrations due to its border location.

The chairman of Chidindu vulnerable group, Mr. Ekene Awa and the facilitator of the group, Mrs. Vera Ezebuenyi assured of judicious use of the funds, to complete the projects in three weeks time and apply for more.
