A philanthropist, from Awgbu, Orumba North local government area, Chief ThankGod Ibeh has inaugurated members of the State Working Committee and Coordinators of Uzokamma Foundation across the twenty-one local government areas of the state.
Chief Ibeh, an active member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, during the event, underscored the need to consolidate on the achievements recorded by Governor Willie Obiano on the lofty vision of better Anambra irrespective of political or religious affiliations.
He urged the youths to form a formidable force that will protect the future of the country through bringing to bear, innovations that will help move the society forward charging all members of the organization to hit the ground running in mobilizing people to achieve their goals.
In his welcome speech, the Director General of Uzokamma Foundation, Mr. Obinna Okoye said that the event was aimed at formalizing and inaugurating members across the twenty-one local government areas of the state to ensure that Chief Ibeh is fully rooted in all the council areas because of his investments on youth development across all sectors of the state economy over the years.
According to Mr. Okoye, Chief Ibeh has invested massively in youth empowerment, free medical outreach and financial support to indigent people in society among others and described him as one who has keyed into Governor Willie Obiano’s agenda of repositioning the state.
Some stakeholders, including Mr. Chijoke Nweke and Evangelist Chika Okeke commended their boldness in carrying the message of Uzokamma Foundation and urged them to remain supportive and committed in achieving the goals of Chief ThankGod Ibeh for a brighter future.
Chief Ibeh later donated a Toyota Siena vehicle to the Director General of his organization to reach all the nooks and crannies of the state.
