Sir Emeka Offor foundation has donated medical equipment worth millions of naira to Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Amaku, Awka.
Health Correspondent Chibuzor Okoye who monitored the exercise reports that Sir Emeka Offor foundation is a nongovernmental organization that touches humanity through education, health and empowerment programs.
Handing over the equipment to the hospital on behalf of the foundation, the Chief of Staff to Sir Offor Foundation, Mr.
Chris Ezike said that the gesture was in fulfillment of an earlier promise made to the hospital by their chairman.
Mr Ezike urged the management of the hospital to put the items donated to good use.
Responding on behalf of the management and Board of the hospital, the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Basil Nwankwo thanked the Foundation for the donation and assured of maximum and optimal use of the equipment.
