The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, has donated medical gadgets to the Anambra State Government as the state continues to prepare for any coronavirus eventuality.
The group, led by its Anambra State Director, Mrs Juliet Owen-Hampo, said that it deemed it important to reach out to the state as the toll of infection from the deadly virus continues to rise in the country.
The gadgets, especially the ventilator, are some of the most sought-after medical equipment needed in fighting the COVID-19.
The Secretary to the government of Anambra State, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, Commissioner for Health, Dr Vincent Okpala and that of Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr C-Don Adinuba were present to receive the donations.
