The Director General of Nigeria Centre for Disease Control Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu has called on the Governor to sustain tempo of public health enlightenment and interventions in the State.
Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu, who was on a working visit to the State, advised ndi Anambra to join hands with the government in the fight against the virus.
Speaking to the ABS, the member representing Anambra East and West, in the national assembly, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe called on the federal government to accommodate all sections of the Country in disbursement of palliatives.
He commended the State government and the House of Assembly for their efforts so far, calling on ndi Anambra to sustain adherence to directives issued by stakeholders on the COVID-19 fight.
