The Enugu Electricity Distribution PLC (EEDC) wishes to inform her esteemed customers in Awka and environs that the current loss of supply being experienced is due to the annual maintenance being carried out by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) at its NIBO transmission station on TR3, 30MVA. This exercise started yesterday (Saturday) and is expected to be concluded today (Sunday).
As a result of this development, there is no supply at NIBO transmission station which affects has affected supply to EEDC injection substation at NIBO.
Consequently, our customers served by Enugu Agidi 11kv, Udoka 11kv, Awka Main 11kv and Nibo 11kv feeders are all out of supply due to this exercise.
We sincerely apologise for the inconveniences this has caused our esteemed customers and assure them that supply will be restored once TCN completes the maintenance work.
