The State Government is preparing to commence the distribution of four
hundred bags of rice to each of the one hundred and eighty-one
communities of Anambra state.
In this regard, the Youth Leaders of communities are advised to
liaise with the youths and the youth organization in their town to
generate a list of four hundred youths and this they should do under
the supervision of the Igwe, President General and Women leader of
their communities who will vet the list.
Guideline mapped out to follow by every community including that the
list of four hundred youths should comprise of male and female in
approximately equal number, the youth must be between the ages of
eighteen and thirty five year, the list should contain the name, age
and phone number of the youth, no household should have more than one
bag in this exercise.
Other guidelines are that the needy and vulnerable should be given
priority, the youth’s leader of the community must sign the list so
compiled along with the Igwe, president General and woman leader.
