A survivor of Covid-19, Mr. Manny Okwudili Asika, has urged
Ndi-Anambra to strictly observe preventive measures outlined by
government in containing the spread of the virus.

Speaking on Nzuko Anambra, a radio phone-in programme of the ABS, Mr.
Asika, an indigene of Onitsha and based in Lagos state said, staying
at home as presently directed by the government, this is the best way to
avoid contracting the deadly virus.

Mr. Asika, however, noted that testing positive for Coronavirus is not
a death sentence; as over eighty percent of victims have chances of
survival, adding that reporting early to health authorities is key in
successful management of the Covid-19 case.

He explained that he had been observing preventive measures outlined
by government prior to the lockdown, hence felt shocked on testing
positive for the virus, after Doctors said he had irregular symptoms
such as fever, diarrhea and cough.

Mr. Asika, who disclosed that he spent ten days at the treatment
centre in Lagos, said he had rejoined his family, expressing joy with
the news coming from the United Kingdom, UK, that the Covid-19 vaccine
will be put on today, Thursday, twenty-third April, 2020.
