Preparatory to resumption of work following the easing of Covid-19 lockdown in Anambra state, public servants in the state have been advised to provide face masks.
This was contained in a public service notice released by the Head of Service, Barr. Harry Udu on Monday, April 28th 2020.
The message said; “All public servants are advised to provide face masks for themselves in preparation for the expected re-opening of offices and resumption of work”.
Barr. Udu noted that the wearing of face masks is one of the preconditions for accessing the offices.
He further urged civil servants to comply with the face-masks directive so as to maintain safety in the offices.
He charged workers and intending visitors to the state secretariat to strictly uphold all the covid-19 safety guidelines put in place by the state government once work resumes.
Recall that His Excellency, Governor Willie Obiano had in a broadcast on Monday, 27th April 2020, following a meeting with leaders of Anambra markets announced that markets in the state will re-open on Monday, 4th of May, 2020. The Governor also said that the state will announce the dates for schools resumption, and for workers to return to their offices soon.
