The Anambra North Vice Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance,
Chief Chinedu Nnatuanya has distributed bags of rice and cash to all
Ward Chairmen and Woman leaders of the party in the senatorial zone.

Chief Nnatuanya who equally distributed bags of rice and cash to Ndi
Aguleri said the gesture was to support Governor Willie Obiano in
giving stimulus packages to Ndi Anambra, to cushion the effects of
economic hardship caused by coronavirus ravaging the world.

Amaka Chibuzor Okoye was there and reports that
Chief Nnatuanya while distributing the items in his residence in
Aguleri, Anambra East Council Area, said that the gesture was to reach
out to their members as their mantra stipulated that being their
brothers and sisters keepers will go a long way to show more love and
concern to their members.

He noted that now the times are hard it is important for those blessed
by God to extend socour to all especially the down trodden, stating
that the Obiano administration was the first to set the pace to ensure
that Ndi Anambra did not die of starvation.

Chief Nnatuanya said that the second phase of the palliative is to
feed three thousand people daily for ninety days to eradicating hunger
and starvation in the area, while calling on them to maintain the
COVID-19 preventive measures stipulated by Nigerian Centre for Disease
Control, NCDC, WHO and the state government even as he extolled
Governor Obiano for relaxing the lockdown.

The State Woman Leader of the party, Mrs Gloria Udevi said she was not
surprised by the gesture for they know Chief Nnatuanya as a
philanthropist, commending Governor Willie Obiano and wife for what
they are doing in the state ,more importantly in containing the spread
of Coronavirus in the state.

For the party Chairman in Anambra East, Chief Emeka Ekwealor, such
palliative is not politics but to compliment what the
governor is doing in extending care and love to Ndi Anambra in the
face of this pandemic pleading for proper distribution of the items to
those it was meant for.

Speaking on behalf of the past executives who benefited from the
gesture, Chief Alex Nnekwu, thanked God for what he is using Chief
Nnatuanya to do in Anambra North Senatorial District pledging their
total support to the party.

Some of the beneficiaries, including Mrs Ekwutosi Chuma, Catherine Meze and Mrs
Augustina Ojukwu, thanked their benefactor for the spirit of
brotherliness shown to them saying that indeed, APGA is representing
well and always has the interest of the masses at heart.
