Succour to the ravaging effects of COVID-19, has come the way of over one thousand vulnerable families, courtesy of Ebubechukwuzo Foundation, Ozubulu, Ekwusigo local government area of Anambra state.
Each of the less privileged families went home with one bag of semolina and a carton of noodles, while some received twenty-five kg bag of Rice, each.
The palliative was part of activities to mark the birthday of the founder of Ebubechukwuzo Foundation, Chief Aloysius Ikegwuonu, who was born on May first.
According to a stat
ement from Chief Ikegwuonu, the gathering of the less privileged and the needy, including indigenes and non indigenes of Ozubulu, at his country home to mark his birthday, touched his heart.
He pledged to continue to use his God given wealth to attend to the needs of the sick, elderly, and the down trodden in the society and pleaded with them not to lose hope in God.
Ebubechukwuzo Foundation had executed series of palliatives to the vulnerable members of the society, who were greatly affected by the lockdown occasioned by coronavirus pandemic.
