In continuation of it’s charitable deeds to the less-privileged, the
needy and vulnerable members of the society, the Ogazi Foundation, a
Non-Governmental Organisation, has visited Divine Mercy Orphanage
Home, Amawbia, where it presented Covid-19 palliatives for upkeep of
inmates.
Correspondent Joseph Egbeocha reports that items presented include;
fifty kilogramm bag of rice, cartons of noodle, water dispensing
bucket, rolls of tissue, tubes of hand sanitizer, cans of liquid soap,
packets of hand gloves, as well as nose masks.
Founder of the Ogazi Foundation, Dr Chidi Okoye, who led other
members, said that the visit was in line with the Foundation’s
COVID-19 outreach program to the needy and the less-privileged.
He called for more hands in uplifting humanity, especially the needy,
at this difficult time the Coronavirus pandemic is affecting people’s sources of income and nations’ economy.
For Honourable Marcel Manafa, Member, Board Of Trustee of the Ogazi
Foundation, the visit to the Home and others were motivated by love and
burning desire to touch lives positively, thanking God for shielding
His people despite widespread of the Covid-19.
Accepting the items, the Matron of the Home, Reverend Sister Chizorom
Ugwu, expressed delight over the foundation’s humanitarian gestures,
praying God to sustain the foundation and its members, as they put
smiles on the faces of the less-privileged people , the needy and vulnerable
members of the society.
