Speaking at the meeting of the Committee, the Chairman, Mr. Odili,
called on Ndi-Anambra to go back to “ugbo azu-uno” as a way of
cushioning post Covid-19 effects, adding that cultivation of
vegetables and economic plants generates over twelve billion naira
annually.
The Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Onukwuba,
who explained that farm input recently distributed to farmers across
the State was aimed at achieving surplus harvest, said “ugbo azu-uno”
will save money for individuals and families, as the Covid-19 pandemic
has taken tolls on people and nation’s economy.
