College of Permanent Secretaries in Anambra State Civil Service has donated forty-two cartons of hand sanitizer to the Anambra State Government to help its fight against the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Presenting the items, the Head of Service, Barrister Harry Uduh, said the gesture was in response to the call by the Anambra State Government for assistance in fighting the spread of the virus in the state.
He noted that prior to the donation, Permanent Secretaries in the State have individually and collectively championed dissemination of information aimed at enlightening the public on ways of preventing the spread of the virus.
Receiving the items, the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu said the State Government will judiciously utilize all the donations in containing the spread of the virus and improving health facilities in the state, adding that the donations are helpful in the successful fight against the pandemic.
Correspondent, Joseph Egbeocha reports that Permanent Secretaries in various Ministries in the State were presented during the donation.
