Aguluzigbo Development Union has donated three hundred face masks to the Anambra Broadcasting Service to help its work force protect themselves from the spread of coronavirus. Daniel Ezeigwe reports that the President-General of Aguluzigbo Development Union, Mr Michael Madueke accompanied by the Public Relations Officer of the Union, Mr Tochukwu Anowai, who presented the face masks to the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the State government owned electronic Media, Chief Uche Nworah in Awka, said that the town union made the donation in support of Governor Willie Obiano’s effort in making Anambra State safe from the pandemic.
Mr Madueke, said the staff of the Anambra Broadcasting Service have through the period of pandemic, shown immense commitment to their duties despite difficulties, adding that it was important to help them overcome the risks.
He extolled Governor Willie Obiano for standing at the frontline of the fight against the virus in the State.
Receiving the face masks, Chief Nworah commended the union for the gesture, adding that being on the frontline of duty at this period Staff of the organization are exposed to risks and need to protect themselves always.
He stressed the commitment of Anambra State government to exploring all measures to protect residents of the State.
