IThe Management of Accunalysis Diagnostics Center Limited Nnewi, the first fully certified Covid-19 Testing Center in Anambra State, has denied some reports on the Social Media, claiming that it has ties and investments from politically exposed persons.
Addressing the press in Awka, the Managing Director of the diagnostic center, Mr Chijike Agbaka, said the firm was embarrassed to read such reports in the Media alleging that a certain politician was an investor in its business.

Chief Ifenna Okeke is a proud son of Anambra State who is passionate about investing in the State to contribute to its economic growth.
Mr Agbaka stated that the involvement of Accunalysis in Covid-19 testing is a result of public private partnership arrangement between it, the Anambra State Government and National Centre for Disease Control.
He revealed that they are putting finishing touches to a pending Memorandum of Understanding with the Anambra State Government following its certification and authorization by the National Centre for Disease Control to run Covid-19 tests in its laboratory.
Meanwhile, discussions are ongoing between the Management of Accunalysis to kick-start a special programme that will see the Anambra State government forward to the lab samples of residents in the State who have volunteered to be tested to determine their Covid-19 status.
In an interview with the ABS, the Commissioner for Health, Dr Vincent Okpala said the Ministry will soon announce phone numbers that members of the public that wish to volunteer to be tested can call, saying that the protocols to follow to make the process convenient for volunteers will be announced shortly.
