Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan yesterday, Thursday, June 4th, 2020, donated food items to Anambra state government for distribution to Ndi Anambra to help cushion the economic effects of Covid-19 pandemic.
According to Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, Secretary to Anambra State government, items donated were five hundred bags of five kilograms of rice, two hundred and fifty bags of five kilograms of beans and two hundred and fifty bags of five kilograms of maize.
Professor Chukwulobe said that the state government has already received the items through its Abuja liaison office.
He thanked the former President for his kind gesture and for identifying with Ndi Anambra at this time, and assured that the state government will judiciously distribute the items to Ndi Anambra.
