The Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano on Indigenous Medicine
and Herbal Practice, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, has charged the people of
the State to be more serious with all the preventive guidelines put in
place by the Anambra State government and World Health Organization on
coronavirus.

Speaking to the ABS in Awka, Dr Ibezim while regretting that Awka
South Local Government area seems to have the highest number of
coronavirus related cases urged the State citizenry to always wear
their protective face masks, maintain social distancing, as well as
ensure regular washing of hands with soap under clean running water as
well as proper use of hand sanitizers in order to check the spread of
the pandemic.

Dr Ibezim, who is also the Managing Director of Anambra State Oxygen
Production Plant, charged the people of the State to always take their
health seriously, by maintaining a clean environment in addition to
eating native foods and fruits to boost their immunity.
He commended Governor Willie Obiano for his series of interventions on
health and other sectors of the economy and called on the people of
the State to continue with their support and prayers to his
administration.
