The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Mr
Ajuli Ngelale has debunked the rumour that the registration portal for
the ongoing recruitment of N-power beneficiaries has been hacked and
bank details of prospective candidates compromised.
Mr Ngelale dismissed the rumour on Good Morning Anambra an ABS audience participatory television programme where he spoke through telephone conversation.
Mr Ngelale who revealed that one million applications have been
received in less than forty-eight hours, said the rumour was the
handiwork of the opposition.
The Presidential aide also revealed that as part of Programmes to
reduce the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the citizenry, the Federal
Government has concluded plans and will by next month begin the
processes of constructing four hundred residential buildings in each
of the seven hundred and seventy four local government areas across
the country.
He said the project will go a long way in cushioning the housing
challenges facing the poor.
