The Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano on Disability Matters,
Mr Chuks Ezewuzie has charged Persons Living with Disabilities in
Anambra State to continue to abide by all COVID-19 preventive
guidelines.
Mr Ezewuzie who gave the charge while speaking to news men in Awka
said that the charge has become imperative as disabled persons are the
worst hit during emergencies.
According to Mr Ezewuzie, a blind man cannot maintain social
distancing because he needs somebody to move him around, likewise a
lame.
He advised Persons Living With Disabilities to shun all forms of
clustering and social gathering for their own good.
He commended Governor Willie Obiano and the Anambra State COVID-19
response team for the excellent job they are doing in the management
of the pandemic which has made Anambra one of the least States in
Nigeria with the case of the pandemic.
Mr Ezewuzie a lawyer urged Ndi Anambra and other residents of the
State to keep observing all the COVID-19 protocols to prevent the
virus from spreading.
