The state chairman of the All Progress Grand Alliance, APGA, Sir
Nobert Obi has described late Chief Egbuna Amuta as a courageous and
dedicated journalist, who made remarkable contributions to the growth
and development of the state.

Speaking to journalists in Awka, Sir Nobert, who said he received the
news of his death with shock and sadness noted that late Chief Egbuna
remained committed towards projecting the image of the state, activities
and achievements of the state government to the outside world both in
radio and television news, news commentaries and programmes, including
the popular “Face the Press”.

He also lauded his sustained efforts in disseminating activities and
affairs of APGA both at the state and national levels.
While stating that his hard work and dedication would remain sources
of motivation to upcoming journalists, Sir Nobert, who prayed for the
peaceful repose of his soul, asked the Amuta and ABS family as well as
Anambra state government to bear the loss with fortitude.
