Anambra State Commissioner for Health, Dr Vincent Okpala says the
Ministry will collaborate with Environmental Ethics and Safety Corps
Organization, on environmental health safety in the State.
Dr Okpala stated this during an advocacy visit by the Environmental
Ethics and Safety Corps group in his office at the Jerome Udorji
Secretariat Complex in Awka.
The Commissioner noted that the partnership with Environmental Ethics
and Safety Corp Organization will play significant role in the State
through their efforts in ensuring a clean and healthy environment.
He commended their initiative of having an Environmental Safety
Situation Room on COVID-19 and assured them of his Ministry’s full
support in implementing and fulfilling their project.
The Director Public Health and Disease Control of the Ministry, Dr
Uchechukwu Onyejimbe received the group on behalf of the Commissioner.
The Leader of the group, Mr Vernacius Nwachukwu said the visit was to
seek collaboration and partnership with the Ministry in the fight
against COVID-19 pandemic.
