Christians have beento love God with all their hearts no matter challenges they are surfacing.

The Vicar, All Saint Anglican Church Awka, Venerable Clement Mgbemena made the call in a sermon during a Sunday service.

While speaking on the theme “Love not the World” Venerable Mgbemena who doubles as the Archdeacon of Awka Archdeaconry reminded the congregation to always abide with God and never to love earthly pleasure and cautioned them to live as true Christians whose life should be worthy of emulation.

Similarly, the Vicar, St. Peter’s Anglican Church Awambia, Venerable Chris Ogbodo, who spoke on the theme “God’s reigns,” told Christians that despite challenges facing the globe that God still reigns in their live, urging Christians to take necessary precautions as directed by the government in order to contain the further spread of Coronavirus pandemic.

On his part, the Resident Priest of St. Mathew Catholic Church, Amawbia, Reverend Father Patrick Okafor, who implored Christians to serve God with sincerity for eternal reward stated that God has plans for every individual who is ready to worship Him in truth and spirit.

Also speaking , the General Superintendent of Greater Grace and Love Christian Church, Awka, Pastor Denny-Emmanuel Iwuchukwu, who noted that every Christian is expected to remain faithful to God at this moment of untold hardship in the country , while the Pastor in Charge of The Redeemed Christian Church of God Umuzocha Awka, Pastor Okey Akpamgbor, harped on the need for all to surrender their lives and seek God first in all their endeavors.

The various Sunday services featured praises, prayer and thanksgiving whereas physical distancing and wearing of face masks were observed.
