The newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Leeds Trinity University,
Leeds, United Kingdom, Professor Charles Egbu of Anambra state, has
expressed gratitude to Gov Willie Obiano, for his good wishes on his
appointment.
Governor Obiano, on receiving the news of the appointment, reached out
to Professor Egbu, expressing the happiness of the government and
people of the state over the feat.
In a thank you letter to the Governor, Professor Egbu said he was
personally honoured by Governor Obiano’s kind remarks on his new
position.
The Abatete born Professor made history with his elevation to the
headship of one of United Kingdom’s most rated universities.
He is the first African to be appointed the vice Chancellor of the university.
